New magazine launched on evidence-based education 
May 2009: A new magazine, Better: Evidence-based Education, has been launched this month. Aimed at educational leaders and policy makers, each edition will be themed. The launch edition focuses on reading. Further information is available here.
Prestigious award for BEE Review
April 2009: The American Educational Research Association (AERA) gave its 2009 Review of Research award to the BEE Review for primary mathematics. The paper, Effective Programs in Elementary Mathematics: A Best Evidence Synthesis, was considered “outstanding” by AERA. Further information is available here.
