Prestigious award for BEE review
Robert Slavin, along with colleague Cynthia Lake from Johns Hopkins University, has received the American Educational Research Association (AERA) annual “Review of Research” award.
Their article, “Effective Programs in Elementary Mathematics: A Best Evidence Synthesis,” was considered “outstanding” by AERA. The article is part of the Best Evidence Encyclopedia website, which aims to provide fair and useful information about the strength of evidence supporting a variety of educational programmes.
The award was presented at AERA’s annual meeting in San Diego.
